For the 2020 ARCSStudent fellowship program 90 students have applied through the ARCS Engage page. Last year It was only 22 students.

ARCS were featured on more than 20 websites and articles.

Website traffic has increased by 80% than the previous year.

ARCS

By combining the knowledge, experience, and talents of faculty and students from across CSUN, including Science, Technology and Engineering, Entrepreneurship and Business, Arts, Humanities and Mathematics, The Autonomy Research Center for STEAHM (ARCS) is a NASA-funded multidisciplinary university center of excellence.

ARCS' vision is to be a global leader in education, research, and commercialization regarding increasingly autonomous (IA) systems. We converge in our desire to research and advance our students’ education and together create a new trajectory to make a societal impact and improve our world.

ARCS Website

ARCS website plays a major role to accomplish many different marketing strategies to help the ARCS program to grow. Also, the web has a far more extensive reach than any other form of advertising. Having an active website is important because it helps to establish credibility as a center. Also, the ARCS website helps to give a positive impression of the center's success. Also, it's a source that is available and accessible 24 hours a day. As a result, CSUN students and other users visit our site to know information about new and upcoming opportunities and services which is convenient for them. Knowing the importance of a website ARCS team works hard to make the ARCS website a well-designed and accessible platform. The below example pages show how we are effectively communicating ARCS vision, upcoming events, news, and stories, etc.

ARCS Home

Rebuild the ARCS homepage(arcs. center), focusing on relevant content, reliability, and current trends. The problem was that there was no way for users to access upcoming events and check out news and stories.

The main goal is to keep users informed about upcoming events and to share news and stories with them. Got inspiration from https://www.apple.com/mac/,

Team

The ARCS team page consists of four sub-pages (Staff, Students, faculty Collaborators.) The Staff, Faculty, and Collaborators pages follow the same layout for consistency. For the student page, I use accordion because we have a list of different student names each year.

ARCS Wiki Site

We build an ARCS wiki site (wiki.arcs.center)for ARCS team members to quickly capture and share ideas by creating simple pages and linking them together. Also, this site works as a source library to save documents and information.

The Colloquia and Seminars page is built to inform users about Colloquia and Seminars' dates, times, and speakers.

The Engage page's main focus is to inform students about the fellowship application process.

The News page includes all the article names that ARCS featured on.

ARCS Social Media

We do social media marketing campaigns for promotions.  Social Media Marketing needs strategy and creativity. Each month we create posts according to a strategy that the PR team came up with. We do create posts about student projects, press releases, NASA/JPL internships, and more. These campaigns help to grow awareness of our brand. This helps to increase traffic to the ARCS website. This is a great strategy we use to promote the ARCS center and its services. ARCS's IG: CSUN ARCS

ARCS Annual Report
Laptop-PNG-Image-Transparent-Background.

The ARCS annual report is a comprehensive report of ARCS Centers' activities throughout the preceding year.  This report Annual gives shareholders and other interested people information about the center's activities and financial performance.

ARCS Presskit

We decided to design a presskit for ARCS because Presskit is incredibly easy for journalists to learn about our brand and access photos and videos to use in their content.  Press kits give journalists all the facts and figures they need so they can focus on telling a compelling story. ARCS presskit includes information about ARCS, images, style guide, and article links.

Why did we call ARCS first cohort Leading Voyagers?

These students were the first to the cohort to do research at our center. They are the leaders for the future. We named these students Leading Voyagers because they found the meaning of ARCS Centers and moved center forward with their excelent researchers and outstanding works,

Our center celebrated the first student cohort. These students were graduated in Fall 2020, and this was a celebration for their achievement. We designed a personalized flayer with a self-illustration of themselves. The event's name was Celebrating ARCS Leading Voyagers
